The tea room is family run and staffed almost entirely by family members. The team of staff includes owners husband and
wife Alan and Michelle, Alan's mother Sylvia and father Alan, Alan and Michelle's three sons (who also help with the planting
on the nursery's pick-your-own fruit plot) and Linda.

Set on the premises of Congburn Nurseries, a garden centre that has been in operation for 14 years, Woodlands
is the perfect combination of old world country charm and modern facilities. Much love has been put into the creation of the
tea room, from the decor - a perfect blend of modern and old-fashioned - to the menu - with a wide variety of foods
to suit all appetites and tastes.
